About Liz Grade

Liz Grade is a Toronto based commercial real estate broker and business owner. With more than 21 years of experience in real estate, she brings practical, private sector expertise to the challenges facing Toronto today; building housing, improving infrastructure, and delivering efficient, accountable city services.

Liz has proudly called Eglinton–Lawrence home since 2015, where she raised her family and where her son grew up. As a resident, parent, and business owner, she understands firsthand the pressures facing local families: rising costs, traffic congestion, safety concerns, and the need to protect and enhance the character of our neighbourhoods while planning responsibly for growth.

In addition to her real estate career, Liz is a director of a family-run construction company. Coming from three generations in home building and construction, she brings hands on knowledge of how housing is planned, approved, and built. She understands the barriers that slow development such as red tape, delays, and inefficiencies. Liz is committed to practical solutions that deliver more housing in the right places, faster and more responsibly.

Liz holds a Bachelor's degree in Design and has completed additional training in real estate, international business, and public speaking, equipping her with the skills to lead, communicate effectively, and advocate for her community.

She is also deeply engaged in community and volunteer work. Liz has served as a committee member of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board Commercial Committee and has supported numerous charitable initiatives through fundraising and participation. Her contributions include fundraising for senior programs through GIRO/Villa Charities, youth mental health programs through JACK.ORG, and breast cancer research through Run for the Cure. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, supporting affordable housing initiatives, and is a supporter of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women's shelters and violence prevention programs.

Liz is running for City Council to bring transparency, accountability, and efficiency to local government. Her priorities are clear: safer streets, less traffic, and lower costs, while ensuring City Hall delivers real results for the residents of Eglinton–Lawrence and the City of Toronto.
